HALLEY |
Iria: Who..?Halley: Shooting Star Halley. I work as a Knight for New Almekia for the time being.
Iria: I don't care... You won't get in my way...
Halley: Ha, ha, ha...
Iria: .........
Halley: For a doll, your eyes are full of life. Dolls are supposed to be lifeless... You are full of life, and yet...
Iria: What are you talking about..?
Halley: I guess I was wrong about you. I thought you were not a worthy opponent... But you are...
Iria: I don't care... You won't get in my way...
Halley: Well... If you insist... I have my own reason for fighting. I can't let you defeat me. I'll show you why I'm called Shooting Star Halley! (What is this feeling..? Something about her is bothering me... Who is she..?)
[Analysis: Here we are given two aspects of Iria's character arc. One - that her eyes are full of life. Despite her emotionless outward appearance, inside of her there are strong feelings that simply don't have any demonstrative power. Also - Halley senses some of the same thing she did when fighting Cador. That is to say, there's something distinctly Bulnoil-ish about Iria...]
[NOTE: Supposedly there is something about this dialogue that affects New Almekia's ending, but I haven't seen it. I also have yet to see if Iria's meeting both Halley and Cador in battle does anything to Iscalio's ending.]
