While being lost in the forest, [Knight] came upon a strange fountain.

[Knight] threw in a coin to pray for a safe voyage and fortune.  After a while, as [Knight] was about to leave, the fountain glowed suddenly and a fairy appeared.

Fountain Fairy: You must be the one who threw in this coin...

OUTCOME 1

Fountain Fairy: This is beautiful.  First I will give you a kiss as gratitude.

The fountain fairy lightly kissed Knight's cheek.

Fountain Fairy:   And next, I will give you this.  Use it carefully.

Fountain Fairy handed [Item] to Knight.

Fountain Fairy:   Well then, I hope we'll meet again in the future.

The fairy faded away into the fountain. [Knight] started for home, thanking the fairy for the item.

[Knight] obtained [Item]

OUTCOME 2

Fountain Fairy: How dare you throw such an unholy thing into this fountain.  Idiotic humans like you ought o be punished!

[Knight] tried to resist the hex by not looking.
...Nothing happened.  The Fountain Fairy disappeared as [Knight]'s eyes opened.  It must have neen just a threat.  After a sigh of relief, [Knight] left the fountain in a hurry.

But the relief was short-lived, as the effects of the hex started to appear at dusk.  As the moon rose, Knight's body started to transform.  When everything ended, nothing but a duck was standing there. Knight could hear the voice of the fountain fairy.

Fountain Fairy:   This is my hex.  You will become a human during the day and transform into a duck at night for one minth.  You should be careful not to be cooked as a roasted duck for as long as you can, tee-hee...

Duck:  Quack!  Quack, quack!

But there was no other reply from the fairy...

NOTE:  It should go without saying that this quest is funniest when Outsome 2 befally Daffy.  If I have to explain why........
