Vaynard: OK, that's it for today. Everyone dismissed.

Yvain: Palomides, let's head back.

Palomides: OK, but can I ask you one thing before we go?

Yvain: Sure, what is it?

Palomides: You know that plan King Vaynard was talking about? I didn't really understand it. Can you explain it to me?

Yvain: this is starting to become a bad habit for you. You should pay more attention and ask questions during the meeting. See, Dillard does it too.

Palomides: My pride won't let me.

Yvain: Pride? You will lose more than pride if you don't know what you're suppose [sic] to do. Just ask if you don't understand. You know how King Vaynard hates those who worry about how they look rather than knowing what they should know, don't you?

Palomides: Yes I do, but...

Yvain: Well, if you do, then you should ask questions when you don't understand something. Don't worry! He won't demote you just because you don't understand the plan. You're the bravest Knight in Norgard after all. Even though you're a little slow in the head...

Palomides: Yvain, are you making fun of me?

Yvain: Is that how it sounded? It was supposed to be a compliment. Anyway, you want me to explain the strategy to you? OK, this is the last time I'll do this for you. Come to my room later and bring that gourmet liquor.

Palomides: What?! That's what I've been saving for a special occasion... OK, I'll bring it, but I think it's too much of a price for the explanation of a plan. You will have to give me a sword lesson as well, oK?

Yvain: That's fine with me.

Analysis: You can't exactly fault Palomides for not fully understanding the plan. Not that Vaynard isn't a competent leader, but his ramblings tend to go on until one tunes his voice out like so much white noise.

As for "sword lesson"...well, let's just say that pretty much speaks for itself, doesn't it?
