Glauze:Oh, it's my pleasure. ...but this isa strange twist of fate...

Lance:What do you eman by that?

Glauze:I have seen you before in Logres Castle from a distance. You were standing beside the King, wearing a gorgeous outfit. But now you're walking side by side with me, the son of the banished.

Lance:I don't think it's strange. We are comrades fighting in the battles together.

Glauze:Comerades? You and I...?

Lance:Yes, you and I are comrades.

Glauze:But, don't you miss the life in the palace? You're a decendant of the Almekia's Royal Family. How can you live through all this chaos every day? Excuse me for saying this, but your sword and armor are in bad shape. It's covered with scratches.

Lance:Oh, these scratches? It's all because I'm inexperienced with both the sword and magic. That is why I have decided to fight as many battles as I can to gain more experience. No one would trust me if I'm not willing to fight despite the fact I'm inexperienced. That's how I got all these scratches on my sword and armor. Do they look that bad?

Whether or not you have Glauze accompany Lance into battle has no effect on the game. However, pairing the two up after this dialogue will result in a small pre-battle dialogue.

One time I got this really late in the game. It was only luck that I had sent Glauze on a quest, and when he returend he was in the same castle as Lance. The dialogue talks of Lance as being inexperienced, but by that time I had him to level 28.
