Carlota:What's wrong prince Lance? You look troubled.  would you like to talk about it?

Lance:  It's nothing important.  I just had an argument with Gereint.

Carlota:  You two had a fight?  I guess you still have the mind of a boy even though you're the head of a country.

Lance:  If he has to complain so much, maybe he should be the Lord.

Carlota:  You shouldn't say things so mean.

Lance:  You're right, I'm sorry.

Carlota:  Well, I understand.  You're younger than I am, yet you have the responsibility of a Lord.  That's a big responsibility.  Now, I'll teach you the guidelines for a Lord.

Lance:  .....?

Carlota:  Don't give up.  Don't be discouraged.  Don't be depressed.  Isn't that simple?

Lance:  Is that it?

Carlota:  Basically, no one will follow you if you look depressed.  You shouldn't worry about your mistakes.  Everybody makes mistakes.  The difference is whether you learn from them or not.

Lance:  Miss Carlota...

Carlota:  To be honest with you, I learned this from my master.  I made a lot of mistakes when I was still an apprentice.  Every time I made a mistake, my master would scold me to a point which made me depressed.  Then he would scold me not to be depressed.

Lance:  He must have been a very strict master.

Carlota:  He was, but I knew he wouldn't be scolding me if he didn't care.  If he didn't think I had the talent, he would not have been that strict.

Lance:  I think you're right.

Carlota:  So don't be depressed.  Everyone expects a lot from you.

Lance:  OK, I won't.  Thank you, Carlota.
