Leonia is a land of peace, right? Right??

Nowhere in Leonia's plotline is there a single discussion justifying taking over the entire continent. In reality we have only three legitimate grounds for Leonia's war making:

1) Vaynard's heavy-handed, With me or against me - proposition literally forced Lyonesse to declare war.
2) Zemekis must be stopped [or he may just make another Back to the Future movie.] A crusade to defeat Esgares is beliveable.
3) Everybody seems to hate Iscalio [I say they're just jealous!] I can see Paternus or Kiloph talking Lyonesse into including Iscalio in Leonia's sweep of the continent.

However, seeing as Caerleon is basically peace-loving [and sibling-loving], Leonia has no logical reason to attack them. Attacking New Almekia also makes absolutely no sense. Wouldn't it be more in Leonia's character to help reinstate Prince Lance in Logres instead of completely defeating New Almekia?

It would have been nice to see some manner of trigger occur when an attempt is made to attack a Caerleon or New Almekia castle. A tri-partite treaty could have been suggested similar to the one Caerleon and New Almekia agree upon.

However, since Leonia can (and must in order to win the game) gleefully stamp both Caerleon and New Almekia out of existence, some manner of justification should be thought about. Perhaps Leonia, strongly independent even during the reign of King Henguist and the former kingdom of Almekia, could see the Caerleon-New Almekia treaty, and these nations' own moves into Norgard, Iscalio and Esfgares, as a threat to Leonia.

In my opinion a conversation might go a little something like this...

Conditions: After Langeborg's battle plans dialogue, and Leonia takes one more castle.

Kiloph: Lyonesse! Don't tell me you're seriously considering listening to Langueborg?

Lyonesse: He seemed so sure of his plans...

Kiloph: He's an idiot. He couldn't plan a dinner party, much less a conquest of the continent.

Asmit: As absurd as this may seem, I must agree with Kiloph.

Lyonesse: Oh, how I wish you wouldn't call it a conquest.

Kiloph: But it is a conquest. It must be.

Lyonesse: Our borders are secure, isn't that enough?

Asmit: Queen Lyonesse, I'm afriad that is no longer enough. Other alliances are forming. Every kingdom is at war to defeat every other kingdom.

Kiloph: We must fight! We must win!

Lyonesse: Then it can't be helped. I'm afraid to hear myself say this, but from this day forward, Leonia will fight for everything. We must take all of Forsena.
