Starts as: LVL 27 Emperor Has battle quips with: Halley, Lance, Cortina, Gereint, Brangien, Raizen, Kiloph, Morholt, Charlene, Cathleen Wounded Line: "How could I let you defeat me...  You'll pay for that in blood." Notes: Formerly the commander of the Almekian Army, Zemekis is the main bad guy in Brigandine.  [Or is he??]  As can be seen in the opening dialogue sequence, accused of treason and goaded on by Cador, Zemekis leads the revolution that throws Forsena into turmoil.  Knowing nothing but the glory of battle and conquest, one can only wonder would happen if he ever conquered the continent.  Maybe he'd move on another continent.

Starts as: LVL 29 Death Knight Has battle quips with: Dryst, Halley, Dinadan, Lance, Gereint Wounded Line: "Ha, ha, ha...  That was fun..." Notes: When Esgares is reduced to no more than 2 castles, Cador will Abandon Zemekis for his true master.

Starts as: LVL 8 Fighter Has battle quips with: His family Wounded Line: "Damn it!  What am I doing?  How can I achieve anything if I'm fighting this poorly?" Notes: Oldest sibling of the Rand family.  After the defeat of Esgares (if he's still there) he'll emigrate to whichever country has Liguel.

 

ENIDE Age: 19

Starts as: LVL 11 Archer Has battle quips with: Wounded Line: "I suppose this is it." Notes: If you're playing Brigandine GE, don't bother leveling up Enide.  THat's all I have to say about that...

Notes: After the fall of Esgares, she will become available as a Quest Knight together with her sister.  Originally called "Mire" in the Japanese version.

 

MIRA Age: 17

Starts as: LVL 10 Lancer Has battle quips with: Millet, Millet and Rain Wounded Line: "I hate to admit this, but I guess this time you won." Notes: After the fall of Esgares, she will become available as a Quest Knight together with her sister.

 

PARADOLL Age: 27

Starts as: LVL 11  Bishop Has battle quips with: Wounded Line: "Don't think this is all I can do!" Notes: Paradoll is just kind of "there".

 

RANGUINUS Age: 50

Starts as: LVL 16 Sorcerer Has battle quips with: Wounded Line: "A defeat is really unsightly, isn't it?" Notes: Father of the effeminate and ineffectual Rain.  After the defeat of Esgares he returns to his family home.  If you get Mira and Millet as a quest, and after Rain arrives, you can send Rain questing and he just might go get his dad.

 

ROECOD Age: 27

Starts as: LVL 11 Knight Has battle quips with: Wounded Line: "I can't soil the reputation of the Priest Knight Corps." Notes: After the defeat of Esgares, Emigrates to next most powerful enemy of player.

 

SHIRAHA Age: 21

Starts as: LVL 14 Ninja Has battle quips with: Kazan, Bagdmagus Wounded Line: "I must have made a mistake." Notes: After the fall of Esgares, he will become available as a Quest Knight.

 

SOLEIL Age: 25

Starts as: LVL  Has battle quips with: Schutleis Wounded Line: "It's my defeat." Notes: After the fall of Esgares, he will emigrate to whichever country has Schutleis.

 

SHRED Age: 33

Starts as: LVL 20 Avenger Has battle quips with: Wounded Line: The next time we meet, it's going to be your funeral! Notes: If you capture Logres you do their prisoners the service of setting them free.  This particular fellow is so overcome with gratitude that he immediately rejoins Esgares (if they're still around) or shacks up with your next most powerful enemy.
